At the end of July 2021 after over 30 years of working in the financial services industry, James moved on to a well-earned retirement – and chose for his business to be adopted by Lee Glennan of Glennan Wealth Management.
“I have known Lee and the Team at Glennan Wealth Management both personally and professionally for the best part of 20 years and that is why I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services to my clients.”
“If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.” – Lewis Carroll
Not having a direction, not having a goal, not knowing where you are going, it’s all the same. You go nowhere. You can never get “there,” can never arrive anywhere, because you don’t really have a destination. Without direction, without a destination, without a goal, how do you pick a direction, choose a road, or plot a course to get there.
I know it’s practically impossible to know everything beforehand. But if you wait until you have all the information, life will pass you by in the meantime.
Do some research, ask some questions, gain some practical experience, then make a decision & act on it.
Wealth management is about adopting a holistic approach to your finances.
We’ll start by reviewing all of your current assets, investments, retirement provisions and savings – and then consider how they can best work together to achieve your lifestyle goals now and for the future.
We make sure to talk about things in a clear, jargon-free language – and take care of the investment risk, taxation, products, funds and all the ‘technical stuff’ so that you don’t have to.
And we’ll also keep a close eye on things for you, with regular reporting and updates, so you can just get on with enjoying your life as ‘we’ planned it.
You can find out more about how we do this just below – and please do check out our Testimonials page for some kind words about our service from existing clients.
What We Do
Cash flow planning is a way of mapping out your finances into the future. It is sometimes referred to as “Cash Flow Forecasting” or “Cash Flow Financial Modelling”‘.
However, whatever name is applied this is actually an exercise in modelling, not forecasting.
What’s the difference? Well, forecasting is an attempt to predict likely outcomes whilst modelling is about looking at possible future scenarios.
You can find out more about how James Glasheen Financial Planning applies Cash Flow Modelling in the attached video…
